Well you have to be a rather dedicated artist and talented with a Rubik's Cube to create this amazing piece of work...

I found this on Mashable and apparently it took over 85,000 Rubik's Cubes to create it... I can't even finish one! I love the amount of detail in the picture and how the limited amount of colours were used to create such a 3D effect.

tattoo parlour part one

Hello Made of Awesome readers!
I hope you are having a fantastic start to the year thus far!

Just to let you know that I've recently created a new range of jewellery called "Tattoo Parlour" which is  inspired by tattoos and the rockabilly culture. I will be adding these jewellery pieces to my Etsy shop over the next week or so. Facebook, Power and War

My PhD is on celebrity endorsements and Web 2.0. As a part of my thesis I'm looking at the impact of social media on the world and the significance of censorship.

This is a really interesting video, reflecting on the importance of social networking sites. If you don't have time to watch it all, just watch from 2:00 to 6:00.

I can't help but wonder how different World War 1 and 2 would have been if social media had been involved. In particular how would Hitler have used social media for propaganda?
